What is wildtype GIST?
|
|
Patients with GIST, who do not have alterations in the genes KIT or PDGFRA, have wildtype GIST.
The exons that are commonly tested are KIT exons 9, 11, 13 and 17 and PDGFRA exons 12, 14 and 18.
